Technique and Materials

Each piece is hand drawn on ten-gauge iron, then hand-cut using a plasma torch.  Chisels, buffing wheels and detail tools are used to further shape the sculpture.  Use of a gas torch creates the variance of color, which brings the raw iron to life. The sculpture is sealed with a clear enamel finish for protection. Multidimensional shadow boxes are cut throughout the rich suede matting to house the various artifacts. The frame is a high quality hardwood. The pieces range in size from 21" x 28" up to three feet by five feet. Coming Soon!! A new line of work measuring 18 inches by 25 inches.
